Albania Teacher's Day - March 7th
There could be no comparable happiness for the
teachers in Albania, a nice country in Eastern Europe, than the
Albania Teacher’s Day celebrated every
7th of March. The annual celebration gives enough
teacher appreciation to the wonderful deeds thousands of teachers in the city are doing everyday.
As usual, The Albania Teacher’s Day this year would be a celebration that brings more food to eat for the teachers during parties and banquets, entertainment activities, and giving of
appreciation gifts.
The
Albania Teacher’s Day, which is celebrated in the whole country, manifested only the importance of the role of teachers in nation building. How the country grow through the years is not only because of the brilliant minds of past and incumbent leadership, but, as well as the contributions of thousands of educators all over the country.
During the momentous celebration, many students offer various gifts to teachers such as love cards, tokens, gifts, render songs during fitting celebrations all over the country. Teachers were also treated special banquet in other places in the country. The government has been in the forefront of this momentous
event for teachers as simultaneous celebrations were also celebrated among government-run institutions. The government, under the leadership of President Barnir Topi and Prime Minister Sali Berisha, has been giving considerable funding for this occasion every year as their means of recognizing the efforts made by the teachers for the good and welfare of the citizens in the country.
Pres. Topi and Prime Minister Berisha have been working hand in hand to give due
recognition to teachers as well as how the government would be able to assist them in their daily needs by way of giving them more benefits and increased salaries.
